  1. Professor of Restorative Dentistry, School of Dentistry, The University of Birmingham
  2. Consultant in Restorative Dentistry (honorary) Birmingham Community Trust
  3. Scientific Advisor to the British Dental Association

Clinical Responsibilities and Experience

  1. Speciality Restorative Dentistry Certificate of Accreditation and on GDC speciality register.
  2. Speciality interest is Restorative Dentistry with an emphasis on Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics. (Certificate of specialisation in both specialities).

Awards

  1. Winner of THES Outstanding ICT Initiative of the Year prize, sponsored by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC)
  2. Gold Medal academic award from the International Research Projecton Magnetic Dentistry for his work on dental magnets

  4. Clinical and Engineering Assessment of New Ultrasonic Dental Scalers (with Prof G. Landini)
